Croma to expand footprint Leading electronics and durable retail chain, Croma aims to increase its retail footprint and private label product category. Croma plans to add seven stores by the end of this fiscal year. These seven large-format store will come up in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. The company is also looking to expand its reach through e-commerce platform. Croma’s online venture now reaches 293 cities and towns, and continuous to increase its presence. Currently, Croma has 93 retail outlets spread across in 16 major Indian cities. Speaking on expansion, Ajit Joshi, MD and CEO, Infiniti Retail Ltd, said,” Our plan is to consolidate our presence in these cities.” On its private label products Joshi added Croma will introduce more innovative personal care and IT products. Presently, Croma has extensive range of personal care and electronic products. In last fiscal Croma has recorded the turnover of 2,500 crore that was 30 percent high from last fiscal. Croma aims to retain the similar figure in current fiscal as well.
