Lately, the leading chain of multiplexes DT Cinemas which is operating in Delhi, NCR and Chandigarh area conferred with the award for sustainably maintaining the highest standard of safety at its cinema halls. DT cinemas received Five Star Health & Management System Certification from The British Safety Council, which is a world recognized body dedicated to ensuring safety of individuals, space and lives work. DT Cinemas is a subsidiary body of the DLF Group. The British Safety Council is a key organization that guides the organizations about highest Health and Safety parameters required by law in order to protect their staff as well as customers. DT Cinemas are known as the "Entertainment Anchor" for DLF malls by being the robust footfall driver. They have been screening movies since 2003 and are in sync with their customers’ needs to provide an ultimate movie experience to the movie viewers. As of now, DT Cinemas is the only multiplex chain in World with the Five Star Health & Management System Certification from the British Safety Council.  It is only multiplex chain in India which 100 %   comply with the Supreme Court’s guidelines which were let down after the tragedy in Uphaar cinema on 13 June 1997.
