Leading chain of French Hair- Salon Dessange is all set to increase its foothold on pan India level by opening 20-25 luxury and mid-segment in coming next five years.  Dessange will operate its luxury brand Dessange and mid-segment brand Camille Albane in the country through a franchisee tie-up. Indian format of Dessange salon will be alike to other mainstream salons currently operating in India, including Schwarzkopf, Lakme, and L’Oreal, etc. Speaking on expansion, Levan Ramishvili, director of Dessange Paris India, said, "While Dessange is very luxury, and we hope it will set new benchmarks in the super-premium segment, Camille Albane will compete with some of the existing brands in this space.” Ramishvili also informed that each new outlet will cost around 7 to 8 crore and will come up in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai in the first phase of development. As of now, Dessange has two outlets in Delhi with another franchise partner, and have recently stated two salons in Mumbai as well.
