Digital payments platform FreeCharge has partnered with Kala Ghoda Arts Festival as its wallet partner aimed at providing a swift and secure way to make cashless payments during the festival this year.
The nine-day cultural extravaganza from Feburary 4 to Feburary 12 in Mumbai is a celebration of visual, performing and culinary arts across venues like Rampart Road, Asiatic Steps and Cross Maidan.
FreeCharge will be partnering with over 120 vendors at the festival ranging from food to music, art, literature etc. Additionally, customers will get a chance to avail exciting cash back offers daily - 20 percent cash back max Rs 50 valid twice per users ensuring seamless payments, all in less than 10 seconds.

FreeCharge has announced the appointment of Anand Sinha as Director, Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives. Anand has previously co-founded PressPlay, India’s first Omni channel entertainment platform and headed sales for Zomato nationally.
Snapdeal will charge a nominal amount of INR 1 as convenience fee, which will need to be paid through FreeCharge / through a debit card at the time of booking the order.
PayPal, which has been looking to get a toehold in the fledging but fast-growing domestic digital payments industry, had nearly closed a funding round with Snapdeal's Freecharge last year, but the deal fell through, sources said on condition of anonymity.
