Essar Steel expands in Kerela via retail

With the aim to grab the customer base, Essar Steel, the global producer of steel, has plans to engage in retail distribution network through Hypermart and Expressmarts in Kerela.

With a thrust on the retail customer, Essar Steel, global producer of steel, will increase its retail distribution network, Hypermart and Expressmarts in Kerala, a top official of the company said here.

The company has at present 3 Hypermarts and 15 Expressmarts already in Kerela. It has plans to increase Expressmarts to then number 23 by the end of the year. With over 500 retail outlets across the country, the concept of Essar Hypermart has revolutionised the marketing of steel in India.

Essar Hypermarts would cater to the needs to the customers like small manufacturers, local fabricators and general engineering firms in the SME segment.
