Indian bistro FabCafe, a subsidiary of retail firm FabIndia, has launched its first shop in Kerala at Kowdiar. This is the group’s 17th café in India.
Indian lifestyle retail store FabIndia is known for its products made by the traditional craftsmen across the country.
Rebekah Blank, Founder of FabCafe, said, “FabCafe is focused on providing healthy, organic food which is inspired by different dishes across the country. We have a blend of local dishes from different states here.”
Viney Singh, Managing Director, FabIndia, stated, “The experience store project aims to provide a comprehensive customer experience for their shopping needs. We intend to open up around 15 more experience stores across the country before Diwali.”
This partnership is designed to support India’s traditional artisans, including potters, carpenters, weavers, blacksmiths, tailors, and other skilled craftsmen, by promoting their products and expanding their reach in the retail market across India.
She will be responsible for leading the company's next phase of growth. Srinivasan will succeed Vinay Singh, who served as MD and CEO for 7 years, but will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
