Fujifilm launched 14 new cameras in the Indian market yesterday. At the launch, A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager (DSC), Fujifilm India exclusively told Franchise India Media about how the company is going to foray into retail in the coming years and is now focusing on tier-III cities rather than the urban and suburban market. He said “We are not foraying into retail for our cameras; we may enter, in the near future, into retail for our printing products. For now we are happy with our distributors. Fujifilm will increase to a 5 per cent market share this year in comparison to the 2.5 per cent in 2009.”
Talking about the company’s new marketing strategy he added “We did online marketing in last two quarters, for the coming time we will do more of print and OOH marketing.”
