IT hardware manufacturer Fujitsu India is all set to rock the market with the launch of ethernet-based computing systems, which features only a monitor, keyboard and a mouse.
Fujitsu India chief operating officer Pallab Talukdar said that the system, called Zero Client will be unveiled by the end of the next month. The system, based on the local area network, will use a company’s servers and not need a central processing unit.
He added that the system will be available at much lower prices than normal desktop personal computers.
Talukdar said such systems would generate lot of opportunities and potential for the company once 3G starts in India. A single rack of 38 servers costs Rs 1.3 crore.
