Ganjam forays into the Japanese market

Cashing in on the 'pro-Indian' sentiment, premium jewellery brand Ganjam has forayed into the Japanese market by tying up with Japan-based Citizen Jewellery.

Ganjam, the first Indian premium jewellery brand selected by Japanese Citizen Jewellery, has come up with seven special collections to cater to the taste and preferences of the Japanese market.

These collections have been drawn from Ganjam's existing collections and modified to meet customer expectations in Japan, but the collections retain a strong Indian essence.

The Bangalore-based jewellery firm, which has a boutique in Mumbai and New Delhi, said these collections have a strong Indian signature, but with a contemporary treatment. Motifs include the traditional peacock and diamond shaped ikkat.
