“Our model of offering budget priced hotel with comfortable and hassle free experience to visitors, has begun to catch the fancy of property developers who are queuing to sign up,” Mr Prabhat Pani, Chief Executive Officer of Roots Corporation Ltd., which manages Ginger Hotel chain, said.

Ginger, which currently manages 21 properties set up in about three and a half years, is set to add nine more during the year and is aiming at having about 50 within a couple of years.

What started as an ideal option for individuals has gradually caught upon corporate houses. Ginger now has 60 per cent of its business coming from corporate clients who see more value in its business format offering right comfort and facilities for a busy executive.
