Gitanjali Group plans 550 stores

Leading jewellery retailer, Gitanjali Group plans to set up a total of 550 shops in India and abroad by 2013 end. At present, Gitanjali has 104 stores in the country, and aims to expand presence in the international market, especially in US and Japan. Further to its expansion plans, the brand targets to increase global retail sales by 30 per cent Moreover, for domestic expansion, Gitanjali plans to invest about Rs 50 crore.
