Godrej set to launch furniture with remote control, embedded tech

Godrej Interio is all set to launch hi-tech furniture with embedded technology and remote-control facility.

The first set of the embedded technology products will be launched across all Godrej Interio stores next month.  Another set of five products will be introduced by the end of the year.

The new products are expected to contribute 10 per cent to Godrej Interio’s revenue of Rs 1,000 crore. About Rs 20 crore has been spent on the design and development of the new products.

Anil Mathur, COO at Godrej Interio , said the company launches around 120 products in different segments every year, which contribute 30 per cent to the turnover.
