H&M eyes to enter 4 new markets in India in Fall 2019

H&M is set to enter markets of Nagpur, Kochi, Jalandhar, and Dehradun with the opening of four more stores in India by Fall 2019.

Swedish fashion retailer’s stores are set to launch in TMS Prestige in Kochi, Trillium Mall in Nagpur, Pinnacle Plaza in Dehradun and Jalandhar’s Model Town. Spread over 65,000 square feet, the new stores will sell clothing and accessories for women, men, teenagers and kids.

Janne Einola, Country Manager, H&M India, said, “New stores in cities across India reinforce H&M’s customer-centric focus. We look forward to welcoming customers at their new favourite fashion destination.”

Currently, H&M is operating 42 stores across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Amritsar, Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Mohali, Mysore and Ahmedabad.

In 2018, the retailer began selling online in India via its website and recently on fashion e-commerce marketplace Myntra.
