India's leading furniture brand Godrej Interio to strengthen presence in Delhi & NCR region

Godrej Interio, India’s leading furniture brand in homes and offices segments, is all set to strengthen their retail presence in Delhi and NCR region. This strengthening of presence was necessitated in Delhi and NCR owing to a perfect blend of consumer profiling and existing infrastructure.

Being well-traveled, consumers in Delhi are conscious about the latest designs and innovations. Similarly, owing to a large working population, the contemporary workforce also prefers spaces that not only gives a productive, enjoyable work life, it also provides an opportunity to socialize with colleagues during and after work.

Anil Mathur, Chief Operating Officer, Godrej Interio, said, “With growing contemporary consumers’ needs in living space ecosystems and the change in work culture, customers want to experience a home and office space that caters to these requirements. Godrej Interio aims to address these gaps and create an interior ecosystem and experience by providing innovative ideas for homes and office spaces using patented cutting-edge technologies.”

While the brand currently has a strong network of 15 exclusive stores in Delhi NCR region, it plans to launch 12 stores during the year. In the office furniture segment, Delhi contributes 135 crores to the brand’s overall annual business revenue, which is 60% of overall Delhi/NCR region revenue of 225 crore.

“Godrej Interio has a strong foothold in the Delhi market owing to its huge brand recall and significant customer base in the region. Additionally, the overall annual revenue is 2700Cr with a contribution of 35 % and 65 % from home furniture and office furniture segments respectively. With15% of the market share of overall organized furniture industry, the Delhi-NCR region market contributes to a significant11% of Godrej Interio’s overall revenue,” Mathur further stated.
