International Toy retail brand opened its first store in Bangalore

International toy retail brand ToysRUs is brought to India for the first time and the first brick and motor store is now open in Phoneix Marketcity Mall, Bengaluru. Tablez India, a division of Lulu Group International, in an exclusive master franchise with the US firm Toys Pvt Ltd launched the toy brand in India.Open in two formats, the group has launched Toys’R’Us and Babies’R’Us. The store is touted to be an experiential store, spread over 20,000 sq,ft.

On the occasion of the store launch, Tablez India Managing Director Adeeb Ahamed  said, “India is among the fastest growing market for toys retail and is growing at a rate of 15-20% annually. We are planning to expand our stores in other parts of the country. The group was planning to open its second store in Delhi by November this year and by the end of this financial year, two more stores in Chennai and Mumbai as well”.

Commenting about the stocks in store, Adeeb, said, “The store will be a one-stop destination offering a full range of toys for both boys and girls in the age group 3 and 11 years. There will be a dedicated section for each category of toys.”

Toys’R’Us operates more than 850 eponymous and Babies "R" Us stores in North America and its products are sold at 1,000 inter-stores in 37 countries.
