Landmark, the largest book and music retailer in India has forayed into Hyderabad with the launch of its first store in the city. Located at the posh Banjara Hills, this new store will open on 23rd July. Spreading across 30,000 sq.ft and three levels, this new store in Hyderabad is showcasing a large collection of books, music, movies, toys, as well as a diverse range of stationery to home décor, gift items and magazines to choose from. With this launch, Landmark will now be present in Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Vadodra, Gurgaon, Pune, Lucknow and Hyderabad. Announcing Landmark`s foray into Hyderabad, Mr. Himanshu Chakrawarti, COO Landmark said, “Hyderabad is a very vibrant market and we expect the Landmark experience to make an impact with the evolved customers in this city. We hope that the discerning book readers and music lovers in Hyderabad will find our wide range a source of joy in the years to come.” Adding to its extensive selection, Landmark will offer an entire section dedicated for gaming. The store will also have a section dedicated for technology with laptops, printers, external hard disks, high end head phones, MP3 players, ipods, cameras, digital photo frames and GPS devices. A subsidiary of Trent Limited, Landmark Limited currently has 11 stores In addition to 7 hotel book stores in leading hotels in India.
