Lenovo Plans 100 Exclusive Stores This Fiscal

Rajesh Thadani, company’s head and executive director said in a statement “In a bid to boost sales and improve customer experience, Chinese PC maker Lenovo has lined up 100 new exclusive stores in India this fiscal. These stores are set up in the franchisee mode. We have 600 stores and plan to add another 100 this fiscal. Of these, 25 are already up and running and another 25 will be set up by mid-November.  Seeing good growth due to GST implementation. In the last quarter (Q1 of FY18), the company logged of around 35,000 desktops in the consumer segment, up from around 25,000 units in the previous quarter (Q4 FY17).

The official claimed this was an impressive growth as the desktop segment has been witnessing a flattish growth in the country due to penetration of other devices.
