Marks & Spencer (M&S), the iconic British retailer, launched its first store in DB City Mall in Bhopal â€‹on 5th July 2018â€‹. The new 8,464 square foot store showcases the best of Marks & Spencer’s quality clothing and accessories across Womenswear, Menswear, Lingerie, Kidswear and Beauty from the brand’s latest Spring Summer’ 18 Collection. It is the retailer’s 63rd store in India and its second store in the state, having opened a store in Indore in 2016.
The new store opening in Bhopal is the latest demonstration of M&S’ commitment to India, the fastest growing international market for the company. M&S opened its first store in 2001 and has grown to 63 stores across 28 cities, including 20 in emerging markets such as Bhopal, alongside an increasing presence in online marketplaces. The company recently issued a strong set of results with LFL sales boosted in 2017 by the rise in number of customers choosing to shop with M&S.
Customers visiting the new store will be able to shop M&S’s latest season collections, including fashionable wardrobe essentials, casual attires, quality footwear and accessories, starting at INR 699 in Womenswear, INR 999 in Menswear and INR 399 in Kidswear. The store offers a wide range of trend led staples across smartwear, denim, casual basics, separates and linen in key silhouettes with a sophisticated colour palette and detailed finishings. Lingerie and sleepwear collections offer feminine colour palettes and delicate prints across a variety of styles alongside a dedicated beauty offer of skincare, fragrance and bath and body products.
