Michael Kors enters India

Premium luxury accessories and ready-to-wear brand Michael Kors has opened its first store at DLF Emporio, New Delhi. Spread in the area of 1,500-square-foot, the store will feature Michael Kors Collection of ready-to-wear and handbags, as well as accessories, including  footwear, watches, and eyewear. It is a first instance when Michael Kors Collection and  Michael Kors items are directly available to Indian customers. The brand’s in-house team has designed the store to let the customers experience label’s luxe aesthetic through the use of rich leather furniture, sleek metal fixtures and mirrored surfaces. “I could not be more excited to open our first store in India, I think that our Indian customers are extremely sophisticated and will appreciate the glamour, luxury and versatility they find in the store.” Informed by Michael Kors in a official release. Adding further, John D. Idol, Chief Executive Officer, said “The New Delhi store is our first venture into this growing market, and we’re optimistic that it will play a key role in the long-term growth of the company,” we are looking forward to adding India to our list of international markets.”
