Next Retail India, the electronic retail chain in India, has targeted a turnover of Rs 4,000-cr in the next 3-4 years, thereby increasing its total market share to 10 percent.
The company plans to open 400 showrooms across the country in the next three months increasing the total to 1,000 stores by the end of the fiscal year 2010-11.
Next Retail is growing at the rate of 40 percent and expects to grow at the same pace in the coming years too. For this fiscal (FY 11), the company is eyeing Rs 1,500-crore turnover.
The company, which has its stores in 270 cities, wants to expand its base to 350 cities. The company is also looking at spreading its roots into lifestyle consumer durables segment.
On the Planet M business, the flagship company has plans to bring gaming zones in its already existing showrooms.
