Omaxe Ltd. joins hands with Leander Sports to promote wellness concept

One of India’s leading real estate companies joined hands with ‘Leander Sports’ to develop fitness facilities for select projects across India. Omaxe, the leading real estate developer, will construct these health centres with the support from ace tennis player Leander Paes’ Leander Design’s Wellness concept in respect of architectural design and technology. The concept is based on healthy living design. These projects would have health facilities including fitness club, spa, gym, indoor sports, multi-sports indoor arena, cafeteria, and tennis court with club, locker rooms, etc. In an exclusive interview with TFW correspondent Rohtas Goel, CMD, Omaxe Ltd., said, “For our sports lover customers, this strategic partnership would help us in providing healthy living designs based on eastern spirituality and vaastu with all the sports and fitness facilities under one roof. Basically we are promoting the wellness concept in our townships. Our basic aim is to give value for money for the people who are staying in our Omaxe townships. We want them to feel and live healthy. We are now starting five projects and then we will explore the possibilities of enhancing this business relationship.” According to the deal, `Leander Sports` will set up sport centres in Omaxe`s townships coming up at Royal Residency in Ludhiana, Indore, Yamuna Nagar, Noida and Sector 78 at Faridabad. It is not a revenue sharing tie-up, but `Leander Sports` would only charge a consolidated fee for all the five projects, informed by Leander himself. Leander Paes said that “I am proud to be associated with Omaxe Ltd. Our strategic partnership with Omaxe Ltd. is in line with our vision and will also provide an ideal platform to take our message across India.” Also on the occasion Rohtas Goel divulged, “We have more than 30,000 customers in our real estate business. We will be going to Dubai very shortly with our business.”
