Orra, part of Belgium based Rosy Blue group, one of world’s largest diamond manufacturer with presence in 15 countries, will be investing Rs 75 crore to open 4 new stores by the end of this fiscal in cities like Nagpur, Rajpur, Varoda and Jalandhar, revealed Mr. Vijay Jain,CEO, Orra, on the sidelines of the flagship store launch in New Delhi.

“Orra which has 3 flagship stores in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai is looking to open two more flagship stores in Mumbai and Bangalore”, said Mr. Jain. Currently Orra has 30 stores across the country. Orra’s flagship store in South Extension, Part II, is spread over 3 levels with a dedicated space each for diamond, platinum, gold and bridal jewellery. There is also a separate section dedicated for high end purchases where customers can sit and browse through the jewellery.

Orra, which is a part of USD 1.8 bn group also plans to open 20-25 new stores in the next three years in the exclusive boutique format. The company which is not into franchising yet feels that their whole business revolves around the customer service and for a franchisor it is very important to understand the core values of the brand. So, we are in constant process of building the brand; franchising might come in the later stage, the CEO quipped.
