The international denimwear brand Pepe Jeans is stitching plans to open 45 more stores by the end of this year.
They currently have 155 stores, targeting to scale it up to 200 by 2011.
The company is looking to foray into cities having a population of three lakh and above across the country. Pepe Jeans is currently present in 81 cities across the country and plans to double its geographical presence of exclusive stores in three years. Pepe Jeans is also planning to sign 50 new franchisees this year.
Pepe Jeans is a denim and casual wear brand from Europe. The brand has developed its presence in several countries around the world. It was launched in India in 1989.
