Planet Fashion to open 50 more outlets

Planet Fashion a well known multi-brand apparel retail chain of Madura Fashion & Lifestyle is all set to open 50 more stores in the tier II and III towns, amongst which 30 will open by the end of current year through  the franchise route. Recently, the company has launched its third multi-brand store Planet Fashion Grande in Bangalore. Planet Fashion claims its USP to be ‘one-stop-shop’. Someone can find all leading brands under one roof with personalized client servicing.  Each of new outlet of Fashion Planet will require overall expand of Rs 60 – 95 lakh with an area of 2,500 – 6,000 sq.ft . All new outlets will be open in the prime location of the city. Speaking on expansion strategy G S Rajesh, Brand Head, Planet Fashion, said: “Nobody has understood the potential available in smaller towns and everybody has ignored it. With the advent of TV in smaller towns, people are getting to know what the latest trends in fashion are and they want to spend money.” Currently, Planet Fashion is operating 170 stores among which 80 have franchisees involved.
