Provogue to offer EMI-Scheme to buy clothes

Provogue has tied-up with private sector lender HDFC Bank to launch an equal monthly installment scheme for its customers as part of its initiative to increase sales. 

Under the agreement, customers purchasing merchandise of over Rs 1,500 from any Provogue store using HDFC credit card can convert the bill into three equal monthly installments (EMI) at zero interest, the retail major said in a statement. 

“The concept of a deferred payment structure can only further induce sales, while balancing the emotional aspect of spending in the mind of a consumer,” said Ameet Panchal, Head-Sales, Provogue (India) Ltd.
