Q Shop to expand through Supar Bazar

The Sahara Group has signed a strategic deal with Dainik Bhaskar Group to expand the Q Shop retail chain in Delhi through Super Bazar outlets. Super Bazar was acquired by the Dainik Bhaskar in 2009 in 504 crore and operates it under the Muti-State Cooperative Society Act. Super Bazar has about 110 outlets in Delhi. Of this, about 95 outlets are of small format covering the area of  300-600 square foot. Supar Bazar is known for offering  exclusive shopping experience in low price.  Speaking on the development, Manoj Baheti, person incharge of Dainik Bhaskar’s retail venture, “We have tied with Sahara Group Q Shop for 65 outlets on exclusive basis.”  Speaking on deal Sahara Q Shop executive director Romie Dutt informed Sahara has only entered into an exclusive  sale  and purchase model for Sahara Q shop products. Sahara Grop has announced the Q Shop venture in August last year.
