Reliance Trends, fashion apparel retail chain of Reliance Retail plans to make its debut on e-commerce platforms, Amazon and Flipkart in coming months.
With this move, Reliance Retail aims to expand its business beyond its network of stores and its own e-commerce site.
In April 2016, Reliance Industries entered ecommerce fashion retail through Ajio, a platform that was targeted at online shoppers with high margin, curated fashion.
As a part of its omnichannel strategy, Reliance Industries has also opened Ajio shop-in-shops in more than 100 Reliance Trends outlets.
Ajio also sells various Reliance Trends’ private labels including DNMX, Fusion, Netplay and various other brands on its platform.
