S Kumars: Targets youth with novel apparel brand
S kumar Nationwide Limited (SKNL), a well-known textile and apparel company aims at reaching the target of Rs 500 crore from its newly launched apparel brand World Player. The company is focussing on the youth segment between the age of 18 and 35 years from the semi-urban and rural areas. Eventually, the company would target pan-India launch. The main locations of its target are West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. Curretnly the company has 12 distributors and 902 retailers in the four southern states. The company also has plans to open around 8,000 point of sales outlets over the next coming times. World Player apparels are priced at Rs 149 onwards and accessories at Rs 99 onwards. SKNL entered in to a tie up with SAFEX to set up warehouse across the country.
