In a recent development society of Indian automobile manufactures (SIAM) has released the quarterly report. As per the data provided by SIAM car sales are slashed down by 9% in the month of June. Altogether automakers sold 139,632 cars in the previous month. Speaking at the occasion SIAM spokesperson said, “Rupee depreciation and increased exercise duty are playing havoc on Indian automobile industry. We are hoping for several stimulus packages from the government in order to boost Indian auto Industry. “ Economic slowdown and low consumer sentiments continue to hit demand, he added further.
