Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has opened its first ‘Samsung Mobile Brand Store’ in Delhi. The first-of-its-kind store, located in south Delhi, features Samsung’s entire range of smartphones, including tablets and accessories.

“The Samsung Mobile Brand Store is a significant step in the direction of creating new, unique and holistic product experiences for consumers at the retail level. The Samsung Mobile Brand Store will allow consumers to engage and interact with Samsung smartphones and tablets through convenient table top displays, multiple product demonstrations and dedicated areas for interacting with Samsung Product Consultants,” said BD Park, President and CEO-South West Asia, Samsung Electronics.

The sprawling 1,600 sq ft store has been creatively designed, keeping the consumers in mind. The store showcases the entire range of Samsung smartphones and tablets. Talking on this occasion, Ranjit Yadav, Country Head-Mobile and IT, Samsung, said, “India, as a market, has enormous potential and that is the reason why our second experience store, after Singapore, has been positioned in the country.”

The unique table format display has been used in the store to ensure that multiple demos can be conducted at the same time. The store is managed by a specially trained team of professionals who are well versed with all the products and can advise consumers of the products best suited for them as per their requirements. The store also stocks a wide variety of the latest accessories that enhance the user’s mobile experience. Applications like Caricatures and usage of the S-Pen on Samsung Galaxy Note are a few of the many unique Samsung experiences provided to customers visiting the Samsung Mobile Brand Store.

Sharing the company’s insight, Yadav said, “Our market share in India for smartphones is 44.7 per cent and the Indian market contributes around 4 per cent to the global revenue of Samsung.”

The Samsung Mobile Brand Store features a large video wall and attractive displays creating an engaging shopping environment. To elevate the store experience and engage the consumers in a fun way, a caricature artist will be based at the store and consumers can get their caricatures made on the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The Samsung Mobile Brand Store network will complement the company’s existing and fast growing number of 260 Smartphone Cafes and 360 digital plazas.
