Keeping pace with other e-commerce sale events, Snapdeal too has launched its Republic Day sale which will run till 26th January on its platform. The sale is offering up to 30 - 80 percent discounts on house hold items and other apparels. Besides, it is also offering a minimum 30% off on daily needs like shaving supplies, cosmetics etc and up to 70% discounts on best selling toys, while kids clothing giving 80% discount.
Customers using HSBC and Induslnd cards will get 15% additional discount on purchases made during the sale. Also, branded backpacks and luggage are available at a starting price of Rs 799. The sale also offers a 15% discount on Cleartrip E-Gift cards and there is also discount on fitness gadgets that start from Rs 449.
Recognizing the surge in preference for brand-centric, value-driven retail, Snapdeal has strategically added various lifestyle brands, catering to consumers seeking both quality and affordability.

Snapdeal was reportedly looking to raise $152 million at a valuation of about $1 billion.
