Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd aims increased revenue

Som Group aims to double its revenues from the liquor business to Rs 3,000 crore in the next four years. Same will achieve through pan India expansion and enhance facility units. The company is also aiming to double the number of its liquor manufacturing units to eight from the current four units in the next three years. Speaking further Som Group of Companies Chairman JK Arora says, "We are aiming to generate around Rs 3,000 crore from the liquor business alone in the next four years on the back of enhanced presence in the country,"

Recently, the company has launched a premium brand Milestone 100 Whisky in central India. Now the company is aiming to increase the product reach through manufacturing tie-ups as well as through acquisition of distilleries. Arora adds, "Our ambition is to be the fourth largest liquor firm in the country in the next three years," Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd, the BSE-listed liquor arm of the Som Group, currently markets various whisky, rum and beer brands including Legend Premium Whisky, Black Fort Rum, Hunter Beer and White Fox Vodka, in the country
