Soon Lenovo to launch devices under Moto brand
Lenovo is planning to drop its brand name from its phones and instead is going to launch its device under Moto brand, as reported by Campaign Asia.
The report also say that Xudong Chen, who was working as the Co-President and SVP of Lenovo's obile Business Group in China will be replaced by Gina Qiao, who was working as SVP of HR at Lenovo.
The report says that this change is meant to enhance the marketing capacity within the mainland.
Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo's Chairman and CEO, added that the company's overseas smartphone performance was better than China's.
However, things might be looking up. A few days ago, Yuanqing had announced that the company had sold a million units of the Moto Z smartphone.
This makes Moto’s new flagship smartphone one of the most successful devices produced by the company.
