Spanish Fashion Brand Springfield And Women's Secret Opens Its First Store In Mumbai

Tablez India, part of LuLu Group International, announced the opening of Springfield and Women’secret store in Mumbai today. Both brands are owned by Grupo Cortefiel, a leading Spanish fashion retail group with a presence in over 89 countries. Tablez India with diverse interests in fashion, speciality retail, and F&B - holds the master franchise rights for Springfield and Women’secret in India and Sri Lanka.

The first Springfield and Women’secret store opened in Bangalore earlier this year.  The store in Mumbai, located in High Street Phoenix, was formally inaugurated by Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director, Tablez India.

Springfield is a popular casual wear lifestyle brand with presence in 941 stores across 73 countries. It will be sold through a mix of large format flagship stores and exclusive brand outlets in India. The brand will offer international fashion for both men and women, looking for urban casual and trendy wear. The latest Springfield fall-winter collection is in store titled Back to Casual, Mix and Match, Daily Smart for both men and women.

Women’secret, with presence of 630 stores across 50 countries, is a lingerie and innerwear brand from Grupo Cortefiel and will be retailed through exclusive brand outlets in India. The brand offers a wide range of women’s lingerie, swimwear, beachwear and sleepwear in styles that are stylish yet comfortable. This winter Women’secret has updated its sleepwear collections with super feminine pyjamas, joggers, T-shirts, sweatshirts, dual- purpose garments that are even more versatile.

On the occasion of the launch, Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director, Tablez India, said, “We are excited to open the first outlets of Springfield and Women’secret in Mumbai. We've had a great response from our stores in Bengaluru and we are sure the brand and offerings will align perfectly with fashion-conscious youth in Mumbai as well. Speaking about the expansion plans for both brands in India, Ahamed said, “There is a huge influence of international brands in India, especially in apparel space. Going into 2018, our expansion plans will take the brands across major metros of India. We plan to open 9 stores of Springfield and 6 stores of Women’secret in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi.  By 2022 we hope to open 75 stores for both brands.”
