The Woolmark Company promotes Merino wool

The Woolmark Company, a non-profit organisation owned by 29,000 Australian woolgrowers, has showcased its theme ‘Merino. Inspired by Nature’ at Tex Trends 2012. Under this theme, TWC has unveiled a new range in the ‘Mothers and Babies’ category, made of soft and natural Merino wool along with innovations and trends in wool fabrics for Autumn Winter 2012-13. As a key category for TWC, it aims to drive demand for Merino wool in the parenthood market by educating consumers, manufactures and brands alike, about the benefits of using Merino wool. Along with Merino wool, TWC also highlighted ‘The Wool Lab’, which has become an important tool for highlighting and inspiring the global apparel industry to source the best Merino wool fabrics and yarns in the world.
