The ‘pulse’ of The Body Shop

The Body Shop unveiled its new store format ‘Pulse’. Through Pulse, they are trying to increase their connect with their customers. The newly designed stores take a customer through all categories of products swiftly. Also the latest offerings are displayed right in front of the store’s entry point. They are also showcasing their ‘Top 10’ products on a special platform created by them.

They will now be offering free make over’s for customers who wish to indulge in their products. They are aiming at increasing the interaction with their customers. 
 
Speaking on its new store format, Shriti Malhotra, COO, The Body Shop said, “The experiential store will house products that are ethically sourced and manufactured. This is a platform to connect with our younger consumers as consumers are demanding fair trade products.” 
 
They are also working towards offering better customer service. Varun Sharma, General Manager, The Body Shop says, “Out of 300 people working in our stores across the country, we have selected the best ones to come and take over service at this store.” 
 
They launched a new movement called Beauty With Heart that will inspire individuals everywhere and transform the boundries of beauty. Beauty With Heart emphasis on a beauty experience that is more thanskin deep, putting a human stamp on beauty and empowering people the world over to Look Good, Feel Good and Do Good. Beauty with Heart is our latest brand platform that connects with younger generations of consumers, keeping the values intact.
 
Activist, model and actor Lily Cole was announced as first ever global brand advocate of The Body Shop Lily Cole exemplifies the sentiments attached with The Body Shop and is the embodiment of the brand’s strong values. 
 
Two new launches were also unveiled; the Body Butters come with a new packaging along with oils, which complement the Body Butters. Both the products have been launched in 13 different variants. They are also looking at introducing Body Mist by August, also in these flavours.
