Timex now rolls out new promotional campaign, “Conversation Starters from Timex” amidst much glamour and glitz in presence of Australian pace bowler, Brett Lee; popular cricket commentator and media personality, Mandira Bedi; and Kapil Kapoor, Sr. Vice President - Asia Pacific & Managing Director-Timex Group India Ltd. The new campaign from Timex presents the new look and feel of the brand, while re-emphasizing the core Timex values of international, sporty, techie and fashionable as it creates a lifestyle connect with the “new age Indian”. “The new conversation starters campaign will be supported with a high decibel 360-degree media campaign”, revealed Kapil Kapoor. The new “Conversation Starters Collection” launched by Timex consists of 21 exciting new styles for men, with features like E-Tide-Temp-Compass, the 30-city World Time, the 12-hour Chronograph with Tachymeter and the Retrogrades. The collection is priced from Rs 3000/- to Rs 10,000/- and is available at all Time Factory stores and key multi brand watch outlets across the country. It is reported the brand is going to launch its iControl watches, which connect Apple`s music device iPod, very soon. The price of this watch will be Rs.5000 approximately. The company is planning to launch Ferragamo brand by next month while another luxury brand, Marc Ecko, would be introduced by September. It is already engaged in marketing the Nautica brand. The company would retail its luxury brands through high-end malls and five-star hotels while iControl would be sold through its outlets. After introducing in metros, iControl will be introduced to tier II cities.
