Vu Televisions, the California-Indian TV player, will soon launch its new range of televisions, the Vu UltraAndroid TV, on e-commerce marketplace Amazon India, targeting the upcoming festive season.
Vu Televisions also eyes to achieve a turnover of Rs 1,300 crore during this fiscal year. The company had been selling online on Walmart-backed Flipkart for the last five years.
Devita Saraf, Chairman of Vu Televisions, said, “We decided to go with Amazon for an exclusive range. We were in discussions with Amazon for a long time and decided it is a good time around Diwali. There is a huge search for Vu TV on their website. We wanted to be fair to everyone and we are doing a whole new range with Amazon which is first of many to more partnerships to come together.”
“Today our customers are looking for our products on different e-commerce platforms and this is also one of the reasons why we have partnered with Amazon. We will continue to sell our other range of televisions on other marketplaces as well,” Saraf further added.
