With 2 new acquisitions, Walmart Labs to bolster its customer service & supply chain

The health tech startup FloCare will be integrated into the customer technology part of Walmart Labs, while BigTrade, which is a B2B wholesale trading platform, will contribute to the organisation's supply chain team.

Walmart Labs, the technology arm of US retail giant Walmart, has acquired two Bengaluru-based start-ups, FloCare and BigTrade, for an undisclosed sum.

The health tech startup FloCare will be integrated into the customer technology part of Walmart Labs, while BigTrade, which is a B2B wholesale trading platform, will contribute to the organisation's supply chain team. 

Hari Vasudev, Center Head & Vice President (Technology), Walmart Labs India, said, "We are in an exciting phase of transformation and it feels great to add terrific minds from the start-up ecosystem in India to our growing team."
