Timex Group India Ltd. has launched its latest collection Helix targeting the fashion-centric youth with their hip and stylishly smart wrist-watches. The new brand was launched in presence of style diva Kangana Ranaut along with Mr. VD Wadhwa, Managing Director, Timex Group India Ltd. Designed by internationally acclaimed designer Giorgio Galli at his design centre based out of Milan, the range reflects the energy, enthusiasm, and the desire of today’s youth to accomplish everything. “With Helix, we continue with our association with the youth of the country, and the technology, and we target the fashion segment to explore new avenues, as fashion has become a part of accessorizing nowadays.”Mr. Wadhwa said. On behalf of Mr. Galli, he added, “the most enjoyable part of the brand was the designing aspect, which was thoroughly satisfying to us & Giorgio Galli”. Initially Helix is launching 30 styles, and within the next 2 months the range will comprise of almost 100 variant styles of watches. Helix will be available initially in the top 8 cities, and distributed through various MBO’s and exclusive Timex outlets across the cities. We are growing at 30% year-on-year basis and hope to grow consistently over the next 3 years. With Helix, there is definitely some competition for Titan.
