Zivame is looking to strengthen its omni-channel presence and boost revenues from the channel

Eight months after Richa Kar stepped down from the role of CEO at Zivame, the lingerie retailer has designed a new management team. Chief operating officer Shaleen Sinha will take over the mantle of CEO with the company roping in former Nando's India head Sumeet Yadav as its executive chairman.

Yadav's appointment comes as Zivame is looking to strengthen its omni-channel presence and boost revenues from the channel, targeting 40 stores by March 2018 from the 20 it currently about 20-25% of Zivame's revenues come from its offline stores currently.

Zivame, which had raised Rs 250 cro re in 2015, moved to a single brand retail platform following the funding round.

Since then, Zivame claims to have come a long way having clocked a growth of 51% in sales between Ju ne 2016 and March 2017, translating to an annualised growth of 74%.

Shaleen Sinha said "This success of Zivame is a result of its continual endeavour towards building a strong brand play, driven by diversification in novel categories, a differentiated product strategy and a strong omni-channel foray. Sumeet coming on board would add further momentum to Zivame's growth story and take the brand to greater heights.”

Zivame claims to rake in about 2,500 orders per day through its reworked model with conversions having reached about 56% over the past four months.
