D2C E-commerce Announces its Official Launch in India

D2C E-commerce announced its official launch in the country. The startup has also raised Rs 60 million in its seed funding round led by industry stalwarts including Ravi Khushwani, Founder of Greensoul Brand, and other industry veterans.

The brainchild of Manish Gupta, the platform has been operational since August 2022. D2C Ecommerce develops its own brands across multiple home and lifestyle categories and sells them on its very own D2C platform.

These products are also available on other leading e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra, and Meesho. The current product categories include fitness, sports, beauty, cosmetics, apparel, accessories, books, food items, travel packages, and technology.

D2C Ecommerce aims to provide aspirational products at affordable prices to every Indian household by catering to all age groups, and income classes, the platform further delivers to Tier I, II, and III cities, across more than 20,000 pin codes.

"We are really excited to debut our first-of-its-kind multi-brand retail platform in the country. I believe that the Indian economy will only thrive if we are able to cater to the mass population instead of the 1 percent elite group and this notion inspired me to launch D2C E-commerce, with a vibrant tricolor logo representing the Indian flag. Our platform is user-friendly and caters to all age groups, and income classes and we have already witnessed a phenomenal response from consumers towards our offerings,” said Manish Gupta, CEO and Founder, D2C E-commerce.

The brand plans to allocate the raised funds to invest in brands, expand its product offerings, add new cutting-edge technologies and at the same time scale up its customer acquisition. D2C Ecommerce further plans to expand its workforce, ensure last-mile delivery, and thereafter, branch out into new categories.

“Talking about D2C Ecommerce, this platform solves each and every need for a D2C brand. My investment in the D2C market is motivated by my desire to aid in the growth and success of the D2C community not just in India, but the world over" said Ravi Khushwani, Founder, Greensoul Brand.

The website promotes a colorful tricolor logo that resembles the Indian flag with the tagline ‘Aspirational Products at Affordable Prices’ as a symbol of offering primarily locally produced and handcrafted products at affordable prices.

The startup further aims to create and collaborate on aspirational products made in India, by promoting Indian businesses in the international market.
