Hatsun Agro Product to Strengthen Retail Footprint

Hatsun Agro Product Ltd.(HAP), a private sector dairy company in India, with brands ‘Arokya’, ‘Hatsun’, ‘Arun Icecreams’, and ‘Ibaco’, is planning to expand its retail network. HAP has manufacturing locations spread across five states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

In addition, HAP will provide greater support to farmers with access to the best technology, farm inputs, animal husbandry services, specialized cattle feed, and direct credit to their bank accounts for their milk supply.

Recently, the company has also started processing and packing milk at its fully automated Greenfield dairy processing plant in Kangayam Taluk, Tiruppur District, Tamil Nadu.

The fully automated dairy plant, one of the technologically superior plants in the country, is set up at a cost of Rs 101 crore. The plant has specialized imported equipment from Germany to process and pack 3.5 lakh liters of milk per day (LLPD). In tune with HAP’s core objectives, the emphasis of the plant’s design is on employee safety, hygiene, and making products of the finest quality.

Speaking on the same, RG Chandramogan, Chairman, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, said, “We are happy to begin processing and packing of milk under ‘Arokya’ brand at our new plant in Kangayam Taluk, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. HAP stays ahead of the curve in terms of automation, quality, and hygiene standards and always sets new benchmarks for dairy products. We are optimistic that the new plant will leave its footprint in the country’s white revolution.”
