Tupperware, a global premium homeware brand based out of Orlando, US, inaugurated its exclusive brand outlets in Mumbai, bringing the total count up to seventeen in a short span of three months. These outlet launches are a part of the brand’s transformation from a direct-selling brand to opening multiple channels of sale, to serve latent demand.
Apart from launching exclusive brand outlets, Tupperware India also entered the e-tail market in August this year and has its products listed on Amazon and Flipkart, all in harmony with existing direct selling channels. The brand will soon be launching its own portal; this change is a step to keep up with the evolving social dynamics and buying patterns.
The brand outlets located in Phoenix Marketcity and S.V. Road, Borivali are spread across 300 sq ft & 540 sq ft respectively. The newly introduced outlets focus on demonstrating a wide array of products, through innovative customer engagement zones.
Deepak Chhabra, Managing Director, Tupperware India, said, “We recently underwent a strategic transformation and added a multi-channel approach to our selling model. Along with our well-established direct sales channel, our products are now available at our exclusive brand outlets. West India being one of the better performing Region for Tupperware, we are excited to open two brand outlets in Phoenix Market city and S.V. Road.”
