Vivo has unveiled its 500th exclusive store in India. The company’s network of exclusive stores is now spread across over 280 cities in the country covering major Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities.
The brand added more than 150 stores in the calendar year as part of its plans to further strengthen its presence in premium experiential retail in India.
Nipun Marya, Director (Brand Strategy), Vivo India, said, “We are pleased to achieve this milestone of 500 exclusive stores in India. We believe that the offline channel is preferred by customers, as they like to experience the product before making a purchase decision.”
In order to provide an exclusively delightful retail experience to its customers, Vivo is looking at expanding its network to over 650 exclusive stores by 2021.
Enhancing Customer Buying Experience
In a bid to enhance the customer buying experience, Vivo has added multiple zones added in these 500 exclusive stores where customers can experience a live demo of Vivo smartphones with touch-enabled LED screens along with a separate accessory and IoT zone.
In addition to this, the Vivo Experience Centers further house Gaming, VR, and customer interaction, which allow smartphone enthusiasts to meaningfully engage with Vivo products and experience the cutting-edge technology in an immersive environment.
“With customer centricity at the centre of all decisions, we, at Vivo India, strive to offer our customers unique retail experiences. With our extensive offline network of 70,000 general trade stores, 4,000 modern trade outlets, and 500 exclusive stores, we shall continue to focus on offering a premium experiential retail experience to our customers,” Nipun Marya added.
