Announcing the launch of Air Conditioners, Dr. Y.V Verma, COO, LGEIL said, “With this new Air conditioners range we further strengthen our leadership position in Air Conditioners. We plan to acquire a market share of 32% in Air Conditioners by end of 2011. With a total investment of Rs. 80 crore in marketing and a manufacturing investment of Rs. 70 crore along with vast after sales service network, we aim to deliver energised and healthy world to our consumers by LG Air Conditioners.”

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Sewoo Park, VP of AC Overseas Markeing, Air Conditioning & Engergy solution Company, LG Electronics, Inc. said, “For LG, India holds utmost importance in the air conditioner category, as we are the leading player in this segment in the country. With a fantastic sales card for last year, we are introducing 51 news models of AC’s this year only with the hope to up the sales number.”

  • With the theme, “Revitalize your living environment”, LG will extend a line up of more than 51 new AC Split models which are 100% BEE star rated.
  • The range promises to offer enriched life to the consumer by introducing technologically advanced health filters like allergy & virus safe filter, Plasma filter, triple filter, and anti-bacteria filter create a world full of health, energy and revitalization.
  • The new range is a rare combination of smart cooling and energy saving which gives you the best air conditioning experience ever. The new range of Air Conditioners also presents the Inverter AC, a world class product available in the capacity of 1.0,1.5,2.0 ton.
  • Inverters AC’s are equipped with variable speed DC compressor technology making them save 60% more energy than a comparable 5 star rated AC’s, providing faster cooling, minimizing temperature variation and super quite operation. The Inverter AC will have a noise level in sleep mode of 19 & 29 Decibels in 1.0T &1.5T respectively.

Price range: From Rs 10,000 to Rs 55,000.
