Motorola Announces DEFY

Motorola Mobility India Private Limited announced DEFY in India - a slim, pocketable Android 2.1 smartphone that comes equipped with advanced web browsing capabilities and a 9.3cm (3.7inch) high-resolution touch screen display that provides edge to edge views of your favourite photos, videos and websites.

An Adobe Flash Lite enabled browser and 9.3cm (3.7inch) WVGA screen allow users to view more of the Web than standard browsers. The pinch to zoom feature in DEFY allows for advanced browsing and navigation. DEFY also features Swype for even easier text input using one continuous finger motion.
