Shoppers Stop: First store re-launched


Shoppers Stop recently re-launched its first store, which was launched
way back at Andheri, Mumbai. The store went through a complete
makeover and was open to public in its new avatar. The revamped and
glittering store was brought alive with a cake cutting ceremony by Top
Models Candice Pinto, Aanchal Kumar, Pia Trivedi, Binal Trivedi, Sahil
Shroff and Asif Azim.

Speaking on the occasion, Govind Shrikhande – Customer Care Associate
& President & Chief Executive Officer, Shopper’s Stop Ltd, said, “We
changed the way India shopped with the launch of our first Shoppers
Stop store at Andheri in 1991. This step marked the start of our
retail legacy in India and also it kick-started the evolution of
modern retail. After nearly 20 years of successfully delighting our
customers, we are proud to present the new avatar of our maiden store.
The store has been designed to meet the international standards that
our discerning customers have come to expect from Shoppers Stop.”

•        The upgrade includes an additional 10,000 sq ft of space, taking
the sum total of retail space to 66,000 square feet. The ample space
ensures an easily-navigable and luxuriant shopping environment.

•        The store houses an array of top notch brands like M.A.C., Playboy,
Esprit, United Colors of Benetton, GAS, MUSTANG - Europe's renowned
jeanswear, Austin Reed - a premium brand of corporate wear from UK,
Mothercare, ELC and many more.

•       From the store façade, to the interiors, and the layout of the
store, everything has been upgraded.
