Genuine Broaster Chicken which entered India in December 2015 by opening first store in Mumbai aims at being the first mover in American Casual diner category in the smaller cities.
Genuine Broaster Chicken is eyeing Tier II and Tier III cities through a franchise model opening around 75 outlets by December 2018. “We have Put Indian touch to American diner and promoted Broaster chicken as “American Soul Indian Heart” with an innovative Indian American fusion menu with items like Palak Paneer burger, Lamb Rogan Josh Burger, Chocalate samosa with mango ice cream and much more. Of course, the Broaster chicken that is cooked in imported patented pressure fryer that enables chicken to be 50% less oily is the flagship USP,” shares Karan Tanna, Founder & CEO, Yellow Tie Hospitality which owns Genuine Broaster Chicken in India.

Genuine Broaster Chicken is currently running 32 franchise stores (22 opened + 10 under pipeline) in cities like Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi to name a few as 100% are franchise stores. “We were attracted towards franchising because we believe that F&B Franchising in India is in its infancy since the country is yet to have a single sustainable local brand and Genuine Broaster Chicken has sensed an opportunity to change that scenario,” adds Tanna.
