The Ambassador, Mumbai, which is a renowned hotel from the colonial era in India, has appointed Chef Sandeep Chowdhary as its new Executive Sous Chef.


The hotel has gained a reputation for its exceptional culinary offerings in recent decades, which complement its premium and lavish hospitality services located in one of the most popular areas of the bustling city.

With his extensive experience, Chef Sandeep will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's exceptional culinary legacy while also catering to the modern tastes of guests.


Having worked in the culinary field for over 15 years, Chef Sandeep is highly skilled in preparing a diverse range of regional dishes from around the world, tailored to the preferences of guests. He has a deep understanding of the significance of seasonal and regional ingredients and their incorporation into recipes.


“It’s an honour to serve the guests at The Ambassador Mumbai. One of the oldest hotels in the city, It’s truly a pleasure to have gotten the chance to be able to present my culinary skills at the hotel while being able to learn better from the diverse and large chef team here.” said Chef Sandeep Chowdhary.

Chef Sandeep previously worked with Mumbai’s popular hotels including The Orchid Hotel, Mumbai; Sun n Sand, Mumbai and The Resort, Mumbai.


As the new Executive Sous Chef at The Ambassador, Mumbai, Chef Sandeep will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the kitchens at Flavours Café, an all-day coffee shop, and The Society, a multi-cuisine fine dining restaurant.


Additionally, Chef Sandeep will create modern recipes and develop immersive food concepts to cater to the varied tastes of the hotel's guests.
